Getting started with candy wrapping is pretty simple but you will need some basic supplies.

They are:

A computer - It doesn't matter what kind as long as it's not really old as it may not run new software. A laptop is handy for taking your business with you, especially to craft/trade shows.

Printer (inkjet or laser)

Paper  ( good quality, bright white)

Foil (to wrap your candy bars in first, resembles classic bars)

Double sided tape or a glue stick

Scissors or Paper Cutter

Design Software (Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, etc) - This is not needed for a candy wrapping business unless you want to make your own graphics.

and/or

Candy Wrapping Kit  (Software such as
Wrapcandy, My Wrapper, Dapper Wrapper, etc) - This software is what you will use to design, personalize & print  your wrappers.

Graphics - This is a very graphic oriented business. You will use graphics on every wrapper you create. If you purchase a candy wrapper kit, you will receive graphics and premade wrappers for you to use in your business. If you purchase graphics elsewhere, be sure to check the Terms of Use for commercial use.

These are, of course the very basic supplies and you will probably need more later but this will at least get you started.

Now if you plan on selling more than candy wrappers, you will need more supplies. So here is a list of items you will need to make most of the printed items created by candy wrappers.
